Meet Recap

The boys travelled to Dana Point, CA this weekend to compete in the prestigious Dana Hill Invite hosted by Dana Hills High School. The boys had some great performances as 19 of the 23 boys had either a seasonal best or season best for 3 miles. Daniel Ziems once again turned in the best individual performance of the day by completing the 3 mile course in 15:16, good enough for 6th place in the Division 2 senior race. With his time of 15:16 Daniel is number 2 on the all time list for 3 miles at Palo Verde.

The team highlight came from the sophomore class as they continued to show their potential by taking 2nd place in the Division 2 sophomore race. Evelio Vergara and Drew Harris lead the way for the sophomores with their patience early on in the race, they finished 6th (16:20) and 16th (16:36) respectively. Rounding out the scoring was Josh Campbell (17:23), Noah Jordan (17:26), and Max Hyde (18:08).
